Conway's cellular automaton, playable as a sandbox. Draw cells with the mouse, step one generation at a time or run continuously, and load classic patterns including the glider, pulsar and Gosper glider gun. Living cells shade from green to blue as they age, so stable structures and new growth are easy to tell apart.
Controls
Mouse: Click or drag on the grid to toggle cells. Touch: Tap or drag to toggle cells. Use the buttons to run, pause, step, clear, randomise, load a pattern, or change speed.
