TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using 84 Arcade ("the Service"), operated by Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

84 Arcade provides an online arcade with browser-based games and an educational platform ("the Academy") teaching game development skills. The Service includes both free and paid content.

3. Accounts

Some features of the Service require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to update it as necessary.

4. Free and Paid Content

Module 1 of the Academy is available free of charge without an account. Access to Modules 2 through 10 requires a paid subscription. All games in the Arcade are playable by everyone regardless of subscription status.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly ($5/month) or annually ($40/year) through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with a paid subscription, contact us within 7 days of your initial purchase for a full refund. Refunds for renewal charges are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute paid content without authorization
• Share account credentials or subscription access with others

8. Intellectual Property

All content on 84 Arcade, including lesson text, game code, graphics, and design, is owned by Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the techniques and concepts taught in lessons to build your own projects. You may not redistribute, resell, or republish our lesson content or game source code.

9. Games You Build

Games you create using skills learned through the Academy belong to you. We claim no ownership over code you write independently, even if it was inspired by our lessons.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snowy Mountain Software (ZYEYZ, LLC) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
